Last Updated: 14 October 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Solidcrest (operating at solidcrest.space) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data. This document is prepared in compliance with Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Perlindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP), Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law.

1. Who We Are — Solidcrest is an editorial wellness platform based in Banjarmasin, Indonesia. We do not sell products or services.

Solidcrest is an editorial project operated from Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia (HP7X+GHM, Perum.Citra Angkasa, Banjarmasin). We operate the website solidcrest.space as an informational and cultural publication focused on Indonesian herbal wellness traditions, particularly the Jamu tradition.

We do not sell herbal products, dietary supplements, or any physical or digital goods. We do not provide medical consultations, personalised health advice, or therapeutic services. Our website is a publication. This Privacy Policy governs how we handle data collected through that publication.

For data protection enquiries, you may contact us at: [email protected] or by phone at +62 821-5567-1606.

2. What Data We Collect — We collect data you provide directly (contact form) and data collected automatically (cookies, analytics).

Data You Provide Directly: When you use the contact form on this website, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message. This data is transmitted via your email client directly to [email protected]. We do not operate a server-side form processor, so this data is not stored on our web server at the point of submission.

Data Collected Automatically: When you visit solidcrest.space, certain technical data is collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure and any third-party analytics services we employ. This may include your IP address (which may be used to derive approximate geographic location), browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited on our site, time and date of visit, and duration of visit.

Cookie Data: We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. Cookie data may include preference settings, session identifiers, and analytics identifiers. Please refer to our Cookie Policy for a complete description of the cookies we use and the purpose of each.

Data We Do Not Collect: We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined under UU PDP, including health data, biometric data, genetic data, financial account information, or data concerning religious beliefs, political opinions, or criminal records. Our editorial content discusses wellness topics at a general and cultural level only.

3. How We Use Your Data — To respond to your enquiries and to understand how our website is used. We do not use your data for marketing without consent.

We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:

Responding to Enquiries: When you submit the contact form, we use the information you provide to read and respond to your message. This is the primary use of directly submitted personal data.

Website Operation and Improvement: Automatically collected technical data and analytics data are used to understand how our website is being accessed and used, to identify technical issues, and to make editorial and structural improvements to the site.

Legal Compliance: We may use or retain personal data to the extent required to comply with applicable Indonesian law, including UU PDP and any related regulations issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika).

We do not use personal data for targeted advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any commercial purpose beyond the operation of this editorial platform. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing — We process data based on your consent (for cookies), legitimate interest (for analytics), and legal obligation (for compliance).

Under UU PDP, personal data processing requires a lawful basis. We rely on the following bases:

Consent (Persetujuan): For non-essential cookies and analytics tracking, we rely on your consent as expressed through the cookie consent mechanism on this website. You may withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences.

Legitimate Interest (Kepentingan yang Sah): For the processing of technical data necessary to operate and maintain the website, we rely on our legitimate interest in providing a functioning and secure editorial platform. This processing is proportionate to the purpose and does not override your rights as a data subject.

Legal Obligation (Kewajiban Hukum): Where applicable Indonesian law requires us to retain or disclose data, we may process data on this basis.

Performance of Contact: When you submit a contact enquiry, we process your data on the basis of your request to communicate with us.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties — We do not sell your data. Limited sharing occurs with hosting providers and analytics services under data processing agreements.

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data to third parties. Limited data sharing occurs in the following circumstances:

Hosting and Infrastructure: Our website is hosted on third-party infrastructure. The hosting provider may have access to server logs and technical data as part of providing hosting services. We select providers that maintain appropriate data protection standards.

Analytics Services: We may use web analytics services (such as Google Analytics) that process certain data about visitor behaviour. These services operate under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. Where such services involve the transfer of data outside Indonesia, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place as required under UU PDP.

Email Services: When you contact us via the contact form, your email is processed through your own email client and transmitted to our email service provider. Our email service provider processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose personal data if required to do so by Indonesian law, court order, or government authority with lawful jurisdiction.

6. Data Retention — We retain data only as long as necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law.

We retain personal data for the minimum period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Email correspondence received through the contact form is retained in our email system for as long as the correspondence is relevant to our editorial operations, and is deleted when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention settings of the analytics service used, which we configure to the shortest reasonable period.

Cookie preference data is stored on your device and expires according to the cookie lifespan specified in our Cookie Policy.

When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised in a manner that prevents re-identification.

7. Your Rights Under UU PDP — You have rights to access, correct, delete, and restrict processing of your personal data.

Under Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Perlindungan Data Pribadi, you have the following rights as a data subject (Subjek Data Pribadi):

Right to Access (Hak Akses): You have the right to request information about what personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed.

Right to Rectification (Hak Koreksi): You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.

Right to Erasure (Hak Penghapusan): You have the right to request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or where you withdraw consent on which processing was based.

Right to Restrict Processing (Hak Pembatasan Pemrosesan): You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

Right to Data Portability (Hak Portabilitas Data): Where technically feasible and applicable, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Right to Object (Hak Keberatan): You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant Indonesian supervisory authority (Lembaga Pengawas Perlindungan Data Pribadi) once such authority is fully operational under UU PDP.

8. Security — We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature and volume of personal data we process. This includes the use of HTTPS encryption for data transmitted between your browser and our website, access controls on our email and administrative systems, and periodic review of our data handling practices.

No method of data transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is entirely secure. While we implement reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant authority and affected individuals as required under UU PDP.
